Where We Work

Program Delivery & Field Operations

The Sustainable Goals Organization for Afghanistan (SGOA) delivers principled, high-impact humanitarian and development programs across Afghanistan. Operating in complex, hard-to-reach field environments, SGOA combines deep local community acceptance with rigorous international execution standards. Our multidisciplinary teams deliver integrated interventions across core sectors—including Education, WASH, Health, Food Security, Livelihoods, and Emergency Response—ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most with speed, dignity, and measurable impact.

Through a decentralized field presence spanning key provincial hubs in Kabul, Kandahar, Faryab, Bamyan, Takhar, Baghlan, and Balkh, SGOA bridges local community priorities with donor frameworks. Every project is grounded in strict adherence to the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS), participatory community engagement, and robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems. By prioritizing local resilience, transparent resource stewardship, and strong partnerships with UN agencies and international bodies, SGOA ensures that immediate life-saving relief contributes directly to long-term community recovery and self-reliance.
